Thule Rental Terms & Conditions

1. 1

   Deposit and Payment

   The rental agreement becomes valid upon payment of the deposit and the full rental amount at the time of product pickup.

2. 2

   Rental Period

   The agreement is concluded for a fixed period specified above. If the renter does not return the product after the agreed rental period, the renter is obliged to continue paying the full rental fee until the product is returned to the owner.

3. 3

   Surcharge for Night Pickup or Return

   A surcharge of 300 CZK applies for pickup and/or return of the product at any time between 20:00 and 06:00.

   Example: If you pick up the product at 22:00 and return it at 13:00, the surcharge is 300 CZK. If you pick up the product at 22:00 and return it at 05:00, the surcharge is 600 CZK.

   Early Return

   In the event of an early return, the renter is not entitled to a refund of any part of the rental fee.

5. 5

   Deposit Refund

   The owner will refund the deposit if the renter returns the product undamaged, fully functional, and clean. The owner is entitled to use all or part of the refundable deposit for any necessary repairs or cleaning of the product.

6. 6

   Liability for Damage

   The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the rented product during the rental period. In the event of minor damage, compensation will be covered using part of the security deposit, based on the current market price of the repair or damaged component (for example, a punctured tire in the amount of 200 CZK). In the event of loss, theft, or serious damage to the product, the renter is obliged to compensate for the damage up to the current market value of the given product.

7. 7

   Repairs and Modifications to Rented Products

   The renter is not authorized to make any changes or modifications to the product.

8. 8

   Signature

   By signing, the renter confirms that: All information provided to the owner is true and accurate. The renter has inspected and tested the product and has become familiar with the rules of use. The owner bears no responsibility for any injuries resulting from the use of the product. The renter has read and agrees to these rental terms and conditions without reservation.

9. 9

   PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

   The owner fulfills their information obligation towards the renter pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) related to the processing of the renter’s personal data for the purposes of fulfilling the rental agreement, negotiating the agreement, and complying with public legal obligations through a separate document.
